SPEAK EASY BLIND TIGER - Australia -(full)| 14.5% Cabernet Sauvignon

Full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. Wonderfully fruity with flavours of blackberry, dark cherry and plum. Kick up your heals, a little party never killed anyone.

2015 VIÑA PEREZ CRUZ ‘LIMITED EDITION’ - Maipo Alto, Chile (medium) | 13.5% Cot (Malbec) 95%, Cabernet Franc 5%

Opulent and well structured. The red cherry flavours are supported by savoury notes of shiitake mushrooms through to a smooth and elegant finish. When it’s gone it’s gone. [v+v]

* BODEGAS ONDARE - SPAIN - Rioja Reserva (full)| 13.5% Tempranillo 75%, Mazuelo 15%, Garnacha 10%

Leather, vanilla and spice of traditionally made Rioja enveloped in a smooth and textured palate. Balanced, with ripe, wild strawberries and integrated tannins through to a long, lingering finish. [v+v]

MOONSTRUCK - Australia - Shiraz Tempranillo (full)| 14.5%

This wine is ripe, complex and wonderfully rich and brooding. Hand-crafted with grapes gathered in the still of the night. Moonstruck is made with food in mind, enjoy!

SAN MARZANO‘IL PUMO’- Italy - Primitivo (medium)| 13%

Intense aromas of plums and cherries, full of ripe fruit flavours through to a savoury finish with cinnamon notes. Winner of European wine producer of the year 2017. [v+v]

* DON’T TELL GARY - Australia - Shiraz (full) | 12%

This is a special occasion wine.  Drink with like – minded wine lovers who enjoy sticking it to the man! Minimal intervention, purity of fruit, Shiraz at its best. (A labour of love, one the accountants didn’t know about) Enjoy with abandon.

* CHÂTEAU KSARA, RESERVE DU COUVENT - Bekka Valley, Lebanon Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon (full) | 13.5%

Ksara is the country’s oldest winery. This is a big, chunky and spicy red made from a Mediterranean blend of mostly syrah and cabernet sauvignon. Medium-bodied, moderate tannin with good acidity. Suitable for a wide audience.

CA’RUGATE, VALPOLICELLA ‘RIO ALBO’ - Veneto Italy -(light) Corvina 45%, Corvinone 40%, Rondinella 15% | 12.5%

Concentrated aromas of red fruits, ripe blackberry and deep cherry flavours, with fl oral notes and a hint of spice. Supple on the palate with a velvety texture. Very easy drinking. [v+v]

VINTRIGUE - New Zealand - Pinot Noir (light)| 13%

A soft, light & fruity Pinot Noir. The flavours of cherries and plums make this an excellent match for grilled poultry or root vegetables. A limit edition wine. When it’s gone it’s gone.

LANEWAY - Australia - Shiraz (light)| 14%

Rich, with elegant and supple tannins; this is bold, modern Australian wine exhibiting aromas and flavours of blackberry and spice. This wine is made with street food in mind, rich rustic pasta, ribs and burgers.

SPEAK EASY PROHIBITION - Australia - Pinot Gris (Medium dry)| 13.5%

This nifty Pinot Gris from Victoria in South Australia is the cat’s meow. Complex, textural and slightly savory. Great with spicy food.

 

* 2015 SUNBURNT CHARDONNAY - Australia - (Medium dry)| 13%

Award winning wine, harvested during the cool of the night to maintain fruit freshness. Lightly oaked. Sunburnt is made for those who love to enjoy the warmth of the sun and the chill of a great Australian white wine in equal measure.

AQUARIUS MARSANNE - Australia - 70% Marsanne, 30% Viognier (Medium)| 12%

Mid gold coloured, delicious, smooth with creamy apricot and spice balanced by luscious, ripe peach with a dash of spice - a big hearted new release.

SAINT CLAIR - Marlborough, New Zealand - Sauvignon Blanc (medium dry) | 12.5%

A full, crisp, wine showing intense flavours of passion fruit and herbaceous notes over a creamy texture. Saint Clair arguably makes the country’s and perhaps the world’s best Sauvignon Blanc.  

* KTIMA GEROVASSILIOU - Epanomi, Greece - Malagousia (dry) | 13.5%

Grown facing Mount Olympus and the beaches of Pieria. A vibrant, aromatic wine showing jasmine and juniper and a touch of ginger with a spicy and opulent mouthfeel. Great with seafood and Thai spices.

* GRANGE DES ROCS PICPOUL DE PINET - Languedoc, France - Picpoul Blanc (dry) | 13%

Grown on old vines trained using the gobelet method. This drinks like a wine twice its price. Look forward to wild flowers and crisp fruit. A zesty clean finish. Very drinkable, delicious with fish [v]

* CUVÉE WHITE - Slovenia - Cuvée - (medium dry) | 13.5%

Grown by husband and wife team Marija and Bozidar Zorjan on just 3h of land, tendered by mini sheep. This golden-yellow wine is wild yet elegant, the purity is quite remarkable.[v+v]

VINTRIGUE - Australia - Pinot Gris - (dry) | 13.5%

A light pink colour cleverly created through extended contact with the grape skins. The winemaker of this limited edition wine is a secret and their style is unique, like a thumbprint. When it’s gone it’s gone.

ROSA BIANCA ROSATO - Italy (dry) | 12% 80% Garganega, 20% Pinot Grigio.

A fl oral and emony with a hint of almond. Tart and refreshing aroma on the nose. Exceptional with light pasta dishes and shellfish. [v+v

* SAN MARZANO ‘TRAMARI’ Rosé - Italy (medium)| 13% Primitivo

A very appealing blush rosé with aromas of roses and wild strawberries against a creamy background of Mediterranean spice. [v]

SACHETTO ROSÉ, Frizzante - Veneto Italy (dry) | 11% Merlot 50%, Pinot Noir 25%, Raboso 25%

Fruity berry bouquet, balanced and lively semi-sparkling wine with a refreshing finish.

[HALF BOTTLE - 350ML) CHAMPAGNE MOUTARD (BRUT) ‘Grande Cuvée’ - France | 12% Pinot Noir

A cuvée with a Pinot Noir base and aged on the lees for at least three years. Fine, rich, developed nose with fragrances of butter, almond and brioche.[v+v]

* CARPENÈ MALVOLTI Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene 1868 - Italy (extra dry) | 11% Glera

A light refreshing sparkling wine with a wonderful balance of light fruit and dry effervescence. A great aperitif or accompanied by cheese.

[MAGNUM - 2 bottles] 2014 Chateauneuf Du Pape, Domaine de la Solitude, France 14.5%  Syrah 40%, Grenache 30%, Mourvèdre 20%, Cinsault 10%

This Domaine has one of the best terroirs in Châteauneuf-duPape with its abundance of rounded quartzite stones from the Villafranchian period 1264. A delight. [v+v]

[MAGNUM] 2014 Ondarre Rioja Reserva, Spain | 13.5% (medium) (Also available in 750ml - see REDS) [v+v]

JEROBOAM (4 BOTTLES) 2014 Dogajolo, Italy (medium/full)| 13.5% 70% Sangiovese • 30% Cabernet Sauvignon

One of Italy’s finest. Full and soft on the palate with fruity aromas, hint of cherry interlaced with coffee, vanilla and spice. [v+v]

WHITE

GRAN CERDO - Spain - Blanco Rioja (dry) | 12% 95% Viura, 5% mix of grapes including Muscat, Tempranillo Blanco, Riesling, Petit & Gros Manseng, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdejo

Very fresh with good acidity, like a crisp green apple from the Viura. The slightly fl oral nose comes from the myriad of experimental white varieties in the blend. [v+v organic]

* SINCE I FELL FOR YOU - USA - Gewurztraminer (medium) | 14%

Named after a Nina Simone song. Light acacia and orange blossom notes. Made using a low intervention production method which lets the vintage and vineyard shine. [v+v sustainable]

RED

* 2016 “HURLUBERLU” - France - Cabernet Franc (light) | 12%

The grapes in this wine are trodden by foot and fermented in concrete tanks. It looks as if it has just been born, exuberantly fresh, brimming with cherry and cranberry goodness and a lively wriggle of liquorice. It is savoury and moreish and delicious served lightly chilled. [v+v biodynamic]

2016 BECK INK - Austria - 90% Zweigelt, 10% St Laurent (medium) | 12.5%

Dark ruby and violet, fresh and animating aromas, pronounced sour cherry-fruit, Christmas spices, cinnamon and cloves, juicy on the palate with soft tannins and elegant spiciness in the finish. Matured for 12 months in old barriques. [v+v organic and biodynamic]

PINK

* BECK PINK - Burgenland, Austria - Zweigelt (dry) | 11.5%

Renegade producer Judith Beck “risks” allowing her wines to ferment spontaneously – in other words, truly naturally. Her authentic wines follow no rules, they are her own. A BNHO favourite. [v+v organic]

SPARKLING

CASA COSTE PIANE - Italy - Frizzante Naturalmente | 11%

Loris Follador has single-handedly turned the traditional farmhouse Prosecco bottled on its knees into a cult wine, with his faultless frizzante. The bubbles are super-fine and the saline and lemon flavours have an irresistibly refreshing ‘drink me’ quality.[v+v natural]

CIDER

SIDRE NOUVELLE VAGUE BRUT Normandy - France (dry) | 5.5%

Made up of 20 varieties of apple by artisan producer Eric Bordelet of Château De Hauteville using biodynamic practices. Amber and aromatic. An easy drinking, almost dry cider with honey and baked apple flavours and persistent small bubbles. [v+v organic]

SIDRE NOUVELLE VAGUE POIRÉ - Normandy, France (sweet) | 5.5%

Made up of 15 varieties of pear by the same producer as above. A deliciously refreshing pear cider. [v+v Organic]
